Resurrection

Though I could still smell the burn, new life was all around me as I hiked the area where the blaze had consumed so much life. Within only months life was stubbornly defying death.  Death does not get the last word in the story of creation! And, so, in the darkest most frightening times I trust in Mama Gaia, in God, in the universal life energy, and in the ultimate goodness within each of us. Resurrection is embedded in the nature of existence.
